More on database support for RT 3.6 on Debian

A default installation of request-tracker3.6 on Debian/Lenny will automatically use SQLite database backend. While this is a good way to get a hassle-free installation for testing and evaluation purposes, Best Practical does not recommend it for production installations.

An existing SQLite installation can be converted to MySQL or PostgreSQL by either

Note that this doesn't migrate the database content; there is no built-in support for this (contrary to a misunderstanding in a previous version of this page).
